Property was as advertised and clean, neat and tidy. Check in was easy, and everything seemed good. The fire alarm going off at 2:30am was unfortunate, with another guest having a steamy shower. The big problem was that it was still shrieking at 3:30am with no response from anyone in authority, and sleep was impossible, so we were forced to head home early and miss out on the rest of our stay.

Pool. Wasn’t expecting it . It was a last minute booking as we only stayed for the night . Very refreshing after a hot day touring Port Stephens.

Empty boxes of questionable products left clearly visible in the bedside. No TV reception. Blown globes. Musty odour. Noisy being next to the hotel with drunken patrons and someone urinating in the garden as my children and I walked by. Glass recycling being emptied at 10:40pm. Rear door to the room had to be jiggled to close. Very disappointed for the price paid.

Basic clean and tidy, quite, only staying one night and then on, otherwise don’t now much about the area, a good and convienant Chinese restaurant on site and a small shopping centre and service station nearby including Woolworths I think. Breakfast not available, understandable, it’s a licenced hotel with restricted trading hours.

The check in staff were efficient and very friendly. The location is quiet and close to shops. Lovely little restaurant next door. I had a very relaxing stay, the room was bigger and nicer than the hotel in Sydney I had just come from.l
