Good place to stay

"Built like so much of Kandy on the side of a mountain, Grand Serendib Hotel offers a standard room with a great view. The room works well in terms of comfort with a pretty little balcony. We had an excellent buffet breakfast included. The staff were very friendly and polite."

Good service by reception staff.Very understanding

"The hotel was average but probably the best 4 star in the area that is walkable to the temple. Special mention to the reception staff who facilitated an early check-in - this was much appreciated as I was travelling with a 2 year old which helped with his feeding and rest after a long train journey ..."

"The staff was very accommodating and made our stay really pleasant. The only complaint i had was that the bathroom fittings were leaking and there were some stains on the bedding which caused us to get the staff to be called multiple times"
