Great stay cation

A local hotel which is always a great staycation option on extreme hot days. They are always welcoming to giving early check ins and late check outs during less busy times. Has an excellent level five fun level of a kids room, arcade room and Mario kart Wii room. Great food at mint lane restaurant too.

Comfortable and convenient

Most comfortable bed I have slept in for ages, good breakfast available on site, coffee pod machine and pods in room and the nearby Burnley gardens were delightful. Nearby tram and close to Hawthorn and Glenferrie road food options

pleasantly surprised. the room was very clean and in good condition. it's a very good hotel for this price range. it was convenient for me to reach meetings in hawthorn and richmond. staff were very freindly and helpful. will stay here again.

3 night business stay

Check-in was speedy once I found the entrance. Was late night but it wasn’t very well lit or signed from outside. Room was in good condition, but couldn’t work out the air conditioning to get it to a pleasant temperature. It just went from very cool to very hot. Pillows are very comfortable, but I found the mattress too firm so struggled to sleep.

The staff were very helpfull, when I called to let them know I would be checking in late. The room was tidy. The bed was so comfortable and the blackout curtains were that good, that I woke up at 8:30 am and thought it was like 4am.

The receptionist that checked us in wasn’t very friendly. French talking man who seemed to not care about the customers. The Motel was amazing and would recommend it to anyone. Clean; modern; bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

Stayed with my dog (english springer spaniel). Dog bed, food & water bowls doggie room service menu all provided. Car parking is max 2.1m height and didn't suit my car. Street parking (accross the road & down the hill) is free after 5pm Friday for the weekend. Plenty of grass for Jerry to do his business across the road. The staff were great. The room was well appointed.

Great and convenient place to stay but needs to provide more bedding options for lighter doonas and firmer pillows. I had trouble sleeping because I was either too hot or too cold and the pillows look great but are so soft they almost suffocate you when trying to sleep. Fix these and I will be a regular customer other wise I would look for somewhere else because I need to be able to sleep well during business trips.

This is typical of world we live in. New year eve is fireworks display and they have a balcony one in use and another in darkness or not utilised, So, what happened when we enquired about the balcony not in use? was the people who paid for it did not want any other people there. That is what has become of everything nothing is free for everyone but not this hotel you have to pay for the free view. What is the world coming to.

Nice super clean comfortable rooms. Stay at desk super friendly. I found it odd that there was NO items in the Kiki bar at all not even bottles of water. We called to ask and they said we could walk down to lobby or wait til another time to call? Petty small things but they didn’t restock the coffee pods either for the second night. In saying that, If you’re looking for a short stay close to trams and a running track it’s awesome. Very clean

The actual room was pretty good. I like having kettle as well as coffee maker so the tea doesn't have that coffee tang. The check in process and check out process was good and staff in that area were good. Where they really let themselves down is the food and the service of the food. The breakfast buffet was OK, but dinner was brutal. Menu never changes for the whole time I was there, to get a waiter to take an order is a work of art. When they eventually (and I mean eventually) take the drink order, it was a 15 - 20 minute wait, and having to re ask where it was before that arrived, the food much longer. The food quality at dinner was poor and per above comment, the service was dreadful. The actual people were polite and nice enough, but clearly no proper training - no one comes back to the table to see how food is. I refused to pay for part of my food as it was not edible. They made some shoestring fries that were so soggy and full of grease - a real shame as the front desk people were nice, the rooms good and the location great too.
