Loved our stay beautiful hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful food and drink were top rate room was excellent great location. Pillows and bed were a little hard highly recommend this hotel.

Nice location and traditional setup. Not quite five star though in terms of staff skill/knowledge and the breakfast is very basic. The rooms are nice but lack ventilation and subject to drain smell. No windows to open. The pool is very small and for 5 star would expect also a jacuzzi, steam and sauna, though gym is of good quality!

We loved our stay here! The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are lovely. Location is brilliant and very walkable to everything. Our studio room had an amazing view and the room was incredibly comfortable. We will definitely stay here again - my new favourite hotel in Melbourne!

Our stay was enjoyable with some caveats. Great location close to the CBD and trams, clean and tidy rooms. It didn’t feel like a 5 star experience unfortunately. The rooms are large, clean and stylish looking but functionally didn’t make for the most comfortable stay (some amenities were empty and room cleans were late on some days). Overall the stay was positive however, if you’re expecting a true 5 star stay I’d consider elsewhere.

The stay exceeded expectations. We stayed as a family in a one bedroom and a two bedroom room. Loved the spacious two bedroom. Kitchenette was very useful. Room was clean and modern. The bed was super comfortable. Can’t fault the stay . Enjoyed the gym and indoor pool and spa. Close proximity to the city. Lovely stay highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are excellent and the amenities are wonderful. The location is great with walkable access to the central district. There are also great public transit options out the front door. Our only disappointment is the bed is a bit firmer than was comfortable for us.

Lanson Place in Melbourne is an extremely nice hotel. I was pleasantly surprised on all accounts. The hotel lobby/lounge is beautifully designed, the rooms are also very well appointed with beautiful views and the gym is especially nice!

We had a lovely stay - clean sheets and towels, clean bed and toilet. Breakfast was good, staff were all helpful. Fully equipped room. Bathroom supplies were fully stocked. Loved the pool and spa. The hotel was overall was very aesthetic. Preserved heritage building facade and very modern inside, I only didnt like that the sofa in our lounge room has candy sprinkles, like left off by previous guest and housekeeping should have seen this. The smoke detector was covered with plastic as well which staff removed for us.

Stayed for a couple nights, booked a King bedroom. Clean, modern room but a bit small with an unusual bathroom layout. No mirror in front of sink, so had to use the portable vanity mirror to see while brushing or flossing. The front desk was all very helpful and friendly. Located across a park, just outside Melbourne CBD, so it felt spacious leaving the hotel. Also very close to trams and transit, though we didn’t use because we mostly walked to everything.
