Site was beautifully located in the central part of Melbourne very close to public transport and shops. Lifts were a little dated but nothing that could detract from the overall feeling of the place. On site laundry was great as was the gym, which although not FULLY equipped, certainly provided sufficient equipment of test even the most ardent of gym fans. Front desk staff were really good, being friendly and efficient on check in and all other times after that. Queen Victoria Markets are only a short stagger away and worth a visit, even if only to kill a few hours and indulge one's shopping desires. The distance to the Southern Cross station is easy going but be mindful that going to the hotel from that site is somewhat uphill so be prepared for a bit of physical effort. Still worth the effort though.
