Hi - I managed to track your apartment to examine it for myself in conjunction with our head housekeeper. I am sorry to say there were residual cooking smells which the housekeepers though they had successfully removed. The floor had been treated with too much chemical by an inexperienced housekeeper. This unfortunately made the floor sticky and left the impression of ity being unclean. Our head housekeeper had personally mopped the floor carefully prior to your arrival but unfortunately this was not sufficient to remove all the chemical. The apartment has now been placed on a maintenance schedule to ensure it is restored to a 'guest ready' state before being put back in use. Should you choose to stay with us in future, I will be happy to provide you with a very competitive price by way of compensation for the inconvenience you endured. Kind regards, Ron

The adjacent train station is also a major benefit for those traveling to the MCG and the city. Most drivers exercise discretion with early morning departures. The majority of apartments on the train side have internal bedrooms which serve to limit inconvenience to light sleepers. Thank you again for your great review. Hello Marian - I was sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with your booking. I apologise for missing your check in. Even though we provide self check in arrangements, I prefer to be here when our guests arrive. Covid has resulted in a substantial impact on my business. I am the only one in the office during the day and unavoidably, I get called away for a number of reasons, You may have seen the notification on the door with both the business and my personal contact details. As you noted, whilst you had booked a Studio, I had upgraded you to a 1BR apartment. Had I been aware of your plight, I would have offered to relocate you back to the Studio. We always strive to operate within a ‘Guest First’ culture and it is disappointing when our best endeavours do not match guest expectation. However, I greatly appreciated your many positive comments. I am sorry you were not able to enjoy them as you might otherwise have wished.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused due to the high temperatures experienced during your stay. Carpet cleaning occurs routinely and/or periodically when required. Hello - thank you for taking the time to leave your views on your stay. the building faces east/west and on a few occasions heat can be a problem when Melbourne experiences its occasional very hot days. The living area is air-conditioned and the separate bedroom is internal with a ceiling fan. Generally, our studio apartments face west and our 1BR apartments face east. Your comments about cleanliness and free parking are very much appreciated. Our house keeping staff take great pride in the quality of their work and it is not unusual for positive comments to be received.

Hi Maria - We apologise for the situation you experienced. I have identified the apartment you stayed in and agree our attention to detail could have been better. The housekeepers have been asked to examine the stain to see whether it can be treated. I also accept the shower recess has evidence of mould in the silicone and this will be repaired before the next guest arrival. We have masking agents for cooking odours and whilst these are applied routinely during the cleans, occasionally they linger and can be treated on notification to reception. We pride ourselves on providing clean, fresh apartments for our guest experiences. Thank you for raising these matters and I assure you we will be rectifying them as best we are able.
