The staff were very good, and the location was excellent. However, the room itself was very basic and below expectations in terms of cleanliness and quality. The blanket was dirty, although this was not immediately noticeable as it was hidden between the sheets. The bathroom tiles were visibly dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned properly. The bed sheets were loose, insufficient, and poorly arranged. The furniture was also below average in both quality and condition. Overall, while the staff and location were positives, the room’s cleanliness and condition need significant improvement. See the photos attached.

We had an excellent stay at Marker! The location was fantastic and very walkable, with so many amazing restaurants and food options nearby. We also loved the beautiful city views from the apartment, especially at night. Queen Victoria Market was only a few minutes away, which was great for exploring, shopping, and grabbing food. Having Aldi right on the bottom floor was incredibly convenient and Chemist Warehouse was just down the street. The nearby free tram also made getting around the city and traveling a little farther extremely easy. We really enjoyed the apartment-style feel. it was spacious, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. The staff was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Having a washer was another huge plus. The only minor downside was that the dryer wasn’t very efficient and didn’t completely dry our clothes, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay at Marker again!

Huge Space

Huge apartment with all the usual amenities. Good location. Really quiet, lovely little balcony to enjoy your morning cuppa from.Very comfortable bed. An all round great place for a citycation.

Clean nice balcony views. Unfortunately the roller blinds didn’t block out any of the morning sun. Would recommend curtains. Room got quite warm in the morning only had a fan available. Nice big apartment space great walking distance to the city centre.

The apartment was nice, only about a 10 - 15 min walk away from the station, and located close by tona supermarket. It also had a small kitchen and other useful amenities, so perfect for my needs. While there was some small damage (e.g. big stain on the carpet in the bedroom) it was overall very clean and tidy, and no real issues. Would happily stay here again.

Aside from the apartments being very clean, and quiet, after returning to the apartment, i went in the wrong entrance, as much as i panicked initially, someone from another apartment allowed me to use their mobile phone to call the night desk. Who promptly came to my assistance and put me in the right direction. Thankyou, ive stayed in these apartments before, and found the service and cleanliness exceptional.

An ok stay but room for improvement.

The apartment layout and design was nice. It was modern with good lighting. There is definitely room for improvement. The furniture was poor, a lounge that was a two seater that you cannot lay on. The dining room table was so small, and there was all this space with no furniture, it was weird. The bed was terrible, rock hard, had a very sore back after a week, went a bought a pillow topper from Aldi to try and help. Also for an apartment, there is not enough utensils, no sharp knives, two forks, no potatoe peeler, I had to ask for that, 3 plates, no scissors, I bought those from Aldi downstairs. Not well thought out.
The dirt around the bathroom sink is not clean and hasn't been cleaned for a long time
The shower is not cleaned. The dirt and scrum has piled up and was coming away if the water hit it. The dirt was so built up
