“This was a decent hotel. The checkin was easy and allowed us an early checkin. The rooms air conditioner wouldn’t turn on. I didn’t try it until midnight though and didn’t want to disturb anyone (particularly my sleeping husband!). When I reported in the morning they said they could’ve had someone come 24 hours a day. The restaurant is really good. I highly recommend the Newfoundland breakfast … traditional fried bologna, toutons, moose sausage, yum!”

Local toiletries to make you feel connected to the area. Conveniently located across the street from one of the best restaurants in St John’s the Mallard Cottage. An authentic experience all around with a luxury touch!”

“Asked for daily cleaning, late evening returned to the room. When checking the bedsheets there were blood stains. Called the front desk three times no answer. Next day went down to the front desk I was told the phone ringer was set on low. Due to this could not hear the phone ringing. When I mentioned about dirty bedsheets was told "sorry to hear that". And I should not called the front desk but located a staff member .”
