Wow what a lovely stay! Such a beautiful Space and Yola was so kind. We were leaving early in the morning for a flight, so would miss breakfast so Yola volunteered to put a dinner together for us. So kind and it was so lovely!

Best place in Menorca
One of the best places to stay in Menorca. The whole team is top people and the environment and location is perfect. Both Yola, Llorens and Ana made our stay a dream.

ENTORNO MUY CUIDADO Y AMABILIDAD EN EL SERVICIO
La finca está restaurada con mucho gusto y tanto el jardín como el entorno es 100% menorquín. El desayuno es estupendo con productos de la isla. Han sido muy amables y dispuesto a ayudar siempre. Incluso tuvieron un detalle conmigo por mi cumpleaños. La cocina a disposición de los clientes es de mucha utilidad. No dudaría en repetir.

A delightful place to stay
Matxani Gran proved to be a delightful place to stay. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, the authentic Menorcan architecture, the delightful swimming pool and the friendly hostess and staff. Breakfasts were excellent, too, and despite the proximity to the airport we were not disturbed by planes. Definitely recommended: we will go back.

Descanso, comodidad y tranquilidad asegurados.
Nosotros buscábamos tranquilidad y comodidad y hemos encontrado justo lo que buscabamos. El hotel es excelente para descansar y desconectar. El desayuno super bien. El hecho de disponer de la cocina comunitaria nos facilito mucho la estancias. El personal, muy cercano, atento y agradable. Sin duda MUY RECOMENDABLE.

Great place to unwind and relax. Feels like a home away from home. Because it is next to the airport there is some aircraft noise but it’s not a problem in the rooms. Well kept and clean and with very friendly and helpful owners and staff. A car is necessary to get around from there.

Agro Tourismo at its best
The Matxani Gran is a delightful old stone built property sympathetically modernised with all the hotel kit you would want. The Aircon was especially appreciated since the week we were there was in the 30's. An excellent breakfast, an Honesty Bar and full equipped kitchen for self catering if you wish all included. The gardens and swimming pool were nicely maintained with some beautiful flower beds. The animal life was very engaging - horses, a donkey and a cluster of tortoises provided a lot of diversion for our grand children - the indoor play area appeals to younger children.

The place was hard to find due to its remote location and lack of signage, but once we got there it was nice. The hosts were friendly and helpful, ambience was very casual with a self service style. We enjoyed the rural atmosphere and the wild turtles.

Preciosa la casa, el jardín, la zona de la piscina, el acceso. Mi habitación, la N-2 tenía un porche con una mesa a la sombra. El desayuno muy variado. El personal muy atento, dando buenos consejos sobre sitios y playas para visitar. En mi caso ha sido muy útil que esté cerca del aeropuerto porque mi avión salía muy temprano. Los aviones se oyen pero no molestan.

Einfach und schön eingerichtete Zimmer mit viel +
Hier ist die Gastfreundlichkeit zu Hause. Die Leute sind einfach phantastisch. Sie sagte, sie möchten, dass ich mich wie zu Hause fühle und haben dann auch alles getan, damit das erlebbar wird. Es ist alles was man sich wünschen kan, da und einem zur Verfügung. Es gibt auch eine Küche für die gemeinsame Nützung von Gästen. Und der Garten ist Punkt auf i. Wunderschön eingerichtete Ecken, die zu Verweilen einladen. Ein Schild auf der Strasse würde aber schon hilfreich sein, wenn man das erste Mal ankommt.

Quirky, comfortable and relaxed
Love this place - great breakfasts, charming rooms and helpful staff. If you are looking for manicured gardens, thick white fluffy towels and 24hr concierge then this place is definitely not for you - but if you want to stay somewhere unique and interesting, it's perfect. Kids loved looking for wildlife in the gardens (tortoises and hoopoe birds were a highlight). Lots of little private corners in the garden to sit amongst the cactus and lemon trees. Yes, it is close to the airport but noise is not an issue. You really will need a car to get around though - nearest restaurant or shop is over a mile away and beach further still.

Agroturismo encantador
El lugar es encantador, al igual que las personas que lo regentan. Tienen una cocina comunitaria para prepararte comida, café e infusiones gratuitas, buena conexión wifi. Por ponerle un pero es que está pegado al aeropuerto, con lo cual se oyen los aviones en las inmediaciones. Sin embargo, al ser temporada baja y haber pocos vuelos y ninguno nocturno, no nos molestó el ruido. El desayuno es bueno y todo natural y ecológico.

We loved this place and would go again for longer.
Went with my girlfriend in early September for a week. We had a great time and loved the place. It's an idyllic rural retreat: so pretty with all the flowers, greenery, white walls, terracotta tiles and individually decorated rooms. It's also quite magical with the wandering tortoises, relaxed cats, occasional lizard, the horses and donkey. Our room: the bed and pillows were super-comfy (good for someone like me with a bad back), and the room seemed to keep a decent ambient temperature (though the air-con was perfect when needed). There was plenty of storage space, and the room was cleaned well every day. The communal kitchen was fully-fitted and the breakfast was fantastic: eggs cooked to order, some of the best pastries I've had, fresh fruit, yoghurt, espresso machine, assorted juices, bread, cheeses, hams and sausages, and cereals. My girlfriend has several allergies but they were happy to accommodate and advise on ingredients. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. All very relaxed and informal. We texted Lawrence when we arrived late evening, and he came out to show us around and recommend places to visit. Thanks Lawrence - perfect suggestions! We had worried there might be noise being so close to the airport (you can see the towers through the trees), but we barely noticed the planes at all (maybe a couple of times a day, if you were by the pool it sounded like a car was driving past, but otherwise we didn't hear a thing from our room). It was a peaceful stay.

La atención del personal es inigualable... Se desviven por hacer tu estancia lo mas agradable posible. Mis hijos disfrutaron mucho de los animales de la finca. El desayuno es muy completo y muy fresco. El acceso a las vías es muy rápido. Volvería sin dudarlo!

es un pequeño oasis cerca de Mahón; fuimos con la familia y te sientes como en casa, facilidades para preparar comida, muy buen desayuno, completo; muy relajante el entorno con la piscina, el jardín y la zona de huertas con un pequeño establo. Muy amables los propietarios y todo el servicio.

Really cool place to stay.
Let's get the one negative out of the way.... Adjacent to the airport, BUT, not on the flight path. If anyone had asked me if I would normally book a hotel so close to the airport I would say no but this place has so many wonderful features, a few noisy take offs a day really didn't mar the visit at all. RIght, the staff, in particular Angels and Cecilie ,could not have been more helpful, thank you. The grounds of this farm/hotel are just gorgeous with so many discrete areas to sit and relax, a great pool and a super jacuzzi! Wild tortoises roam the grounds and two donkeys in the field which were lovely to visit. The continental breakfast was superb with meat, cheese,eggs,cakes,yoghurt,fresh fruit... Delicious melon Cecilie...all taken very lazily in the dining patio. The large barn was not used by us much as the weather was so nice outside, but, had lots of good seating areas, children's toys and an expansive library. THe honesty bar was cheap and well stocked. On top of this all the guests have their own shelf in the fridges in the enormous kitchen and full access to all of the plentiful kitchen supplies. Our room, N3 was one of 3 with private patios , the room was comfortable and the shower just great . THe whole atmosphere of this hotel was very relaxed and if you are lucky Leila, who runs private retreats from this place may be able to arrange a Thai massage, sooo good ,thank you Leila. I normally write very short reviews but as you can see this place captivated me!

Agriturismo fantastico immerso nella natura
Eccellente agriturismo con piscina, vasca idromassaggio e diversi animali. Nonostante la vicinanza all'aeroporto la zona è tranquillissima e l'atmosfera rilassante. Ottima colazione.

Es una auténtica casa de campo restaurada como hotel, llena de antigüedades, con ambiente de campo pero con todas las comodidades: piscina, jacuzzi al aire libre (lo usamos viendo las estrellas), sala de juegos.... Al llegar la dueña nos enseñó todas las instalaciones y nos hizo sentir como en casa. El desayuno era excelente.

Eine echte Perle zum Abschalten. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung in ländlicher Umgebung mit rustikalem Ambiente und mediterraner Küstennähe sucht wird hier fündig. Man wird von den Eigentümern und Mitarbeitern liebevoll empfangen und betreut. Ideal für einen Kurztrip oder als Ausgangspunkt für weitere Erkundungen der Insel.

Beautiful old building
A great welcome from our hostess, starting with a tour of the extensive grounds and the ancient buildings. Relaxed in comfortable rocking chairs on the verandah in front of our room. Bar is run on an honesty basis and the whole atmosphere is very restful. Breakfast was served from 8.30 to 10 but it was not unusual for it to continue to 11 and was a substantial repast with many choices. There were adults and children of all ages and plenty of quiet spots for everybody. We strongly recommend a stay here,

ho trascorso una settimana con la mia famiglia in questa struttura ed e' stata sicuramente molto positiva. location fantastica e curata ricca di servizi anche inaspettati e molto graditi quali l'orto dal quale attingere liberamente, la piscina, la vasca idromassaggio, la lavanderia sempre a disposizione, il bar self-service, sala relax e soprattutto massima libertà' all'interno della struttura, il personale e la proprietà sempre molto disponibili e nello stesso tempo molto discreti. voto complessivo molto molto positivo!
