“I’ve said before, but this is the single best place in Malia if you want luxury in the middle of the action. If you like to sleep before 3am though earplugs are recommended, and my host was happy to buy some for me and send them up! You can’t ask for more than that.”

Most importantly, the staff were incredible in making sure we had everything we needed and handled our group with so much respect. “We had wonderful time lodging in the junior suite overlooking the pool area and Aegean. The staff was very attentive and the food was good here too. The beach itself is a bit rocky but easily overcome. The area has many restaurants including one that is part of the family ownership: it was excellent.”

The hotel owner was a pleasant person who came to talk with us, gave us tips on where to travel, and asked for our suggestions on how to improve the hospitality. “This place is a few steps from the beach, clean and well maintained. Everything in the room worked without any problems. The air-conditioning was worth it to pay a little bit extra for at checkin. The main street is right there with an endless selection of food places and all the necessities (supermarket, pharmacy etc) are a short walk away on the main street. The beach is mere meters away and it is a pleasant sandy beach. The incline of the sea is gentle. We were there in the middle of August...
