“Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. There are plenty of activities and we loved the farm animals and the ability to hike around the grounds. The only critique would be that the...

“We went in January and loved it. Loved the lodge style hotel room with a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake. Plus a jacuzzi tub. Close to downtown and local restaurants it was the perfect stay. Just know there is no housekeeping, which we didn’t mind. Also the only downside was the walls are wood so you could hear the people in the next room talking. Otherwise it was a perfect trip and we hope to come back next year! ”
