The gardens ,river and heated pool looked great ,definitely a place to take children .We only overnighted so didn’t make use of all the facilities which were available. The toilet in our rondavel was blocked ,and a bathmat would have been nice as the floors are freezing cold .

Enjoyable stay

I really enjoyed our stay, we had a 50th birthday party and the staff was friendly, and the venue amazing. I have read in a previous review that even though there is a kettle and cups there is no coffee, tea or sugar, this was however not a problem as there is restaurants on site that open at 8, although they should be serving better coffee, than instant. I would stay there again but in a self catering unit.

It was freezing cold and the airconditioner was not working. On asking the receptionist for assistance, she brushed my request off. I woke up sick. The following morning, I could not get an iron for my clothes. I immediately checked out instead of staying for one more night.

The place is beautiful and very peaceful. You need to improve your TV 's and make sure they work properly cause we couldn't watch soccer as some of the channels were not working. Please add coffie/tea packs on the rooms cause you have cups and kettles but no packs.
