"Loved the property and its overall vibe. The restaurant was excellent for dinner, however, although it advertised a full menu breakfast, there was only a buffet which was not worth the $23.00 per person. Would love to go back once all the repairs from the flood have been completed."

"The cottage was well represented. Ours had two rooms and was up on a tall hill overlooking the water (water unaccessible). The cottages are directly off the highway and close to the Canso causeway (start of Cape Breton). A town is nearby with all the supplies you could need. The cottage has very basic amenities for the kitchen and such. Ours was $311 for early September, which was on the high side, but we wanted this sort of a place to stay, and not a chain hotel. The owner met us when we arrived, and escorted us up the hill to our cottage. Overall, a very pleasant cottage to stay in."

"This was a good nights sleep but on an old mattress. Carpets are old and as such, are hard to clean well. Bring slippers. The bathroom was spotless and so that made for a pleasant experience. The restaurant looked good but we had other plans. Parking was very convenient – right in front of the unit. A/C was not needed but the heating worked well and quietly."
