"Hello,
I am writing to formally request a refund for a recent hotel stay booked through Hotels.com due to multiple unacceptable issues that significantly impacted our experience.
Upon arrival, the first room we were assigned had a serious plumbing issue. When the toilet was flushed, sewage water backed up through the drain, making the room completely unusable. We were then moved to a second room, which unfortunately presented several additional concerns.
In the second room, there was no TV remote available. While searching for it, we discovered a pair of someone else’s dirty underwear behind the TV stand, which was extremely disturbing and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and sanitation of the room. Additionally, the shower head was broken, making it difficult to use.
Beyond the room conditions, the elevators were not working, which was very inconvenient. The hotel also did not have basic over-the-counter medication such as Tylenol available, and the breakfast provided was of poor quality, accompanied by unsatisfactory service."
"Clean and updated. I liked the bathroom except for the barn door - not a fan of barn doors on bathrooms cause they don’t ever close all the way to give complete privacy. Evening staff not so friendly but morning staff was wonderful. "
"Hotels.com should implement a way to verify all amenities are working. For the majority of our stays, we choose based on quality of breakfast and the most important is a hot tub. I am disabled. Ofter I need to soak after a long day. When we go to check-in and are told, "no the hot tub is not working" I feel I have been bait and switched. If a hotel does not have what they advertise there should be a penalty. Hotels.com needs to have a way to show this."
"No it was out of order and the room was so small no pool the vending machine in the lobby charged me 9 dollars for a small bag of gummy worms .the 100 $ deposit really would have been nice if inwas warned b4 i paid the room onlne . B ullshit i will bever stay there aga i n"
