"We completed the online check-in form in advance, but it did not go through immediately, so we continued communicating with the host through Hotels.com. Communication was fine until our arrival, but when we actually tried to enter, it might have been difficult if we had not happened to meet a member of the cleaning staff.
The instructions, map, and access code were all accurate. However, when the staff member helped us contact the host by phone, we were told that our passport information had not been received, despite our previous messages about it. Thankfully, with her help, we resolved the issue and checked in successfully.
Apart from the check-in issue, we were very satisfied. The apartment looked exactly like the photos, was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The location was also great, on a wide street with very little car traffic. It was generally quiet, although some construction work made it noisier toward the end of our stay. The facilities worked well, and there was plenty of dishwasher detergent.
We had understood that laundry facilities were available, but we could not find a washing machine. We are not sure whether we misunderstood the listing.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The local cleaning staff member was especially cheerful, friendly, and helpful, and left a very positive impression on us."
