“We had a very warm welcome from Andres and we enjoyed the introduction to his wonderful family home, which has been restored beautifully, and is immaculate. The gardens, grounds and pool are are beautifully kept too, with some very attractive seating areas , in different corners. We enjoyed being there for the local festa, eating at local restaurants, and walking along the banks of the Minho. Cannot finish without mentioning the SPECTACULAR buffet breakfast! We have never seen such a wonderful...

“This was one of the very best places we stayed in the 6 weeks we spent in Italy and Portugal! The owner, Silvio, is such a kind and generous host, and he has created a uniquely beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, set in an incredibly lovely garden, and the stone house was just as charming. Silvio has done a beautiful job decorating, and does so many nice touches that add to the warmth and beauty of the property. This is a great place to stay, and we would love to come back!”

Chambre meublée de bric et de broc avec des meubles chinés, originaux mais peu pratiques. Salle de bain propre mais curieusement équipée d'une douche à rideau désuet. Petit déjeuner correct, organisation et matériel nécessitant assistance. Tarif élevé pour ce niveau de prestation.”

“Wir haben im Haus Europa für 4 Nächte übernachtet. Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar für Ausflüge in den Nationalpark gelegen und man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick über den Nationalpark. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es war alles dort, was man benötigt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Beim nächsten Besuch des Nationalpark Peneda-Gerês, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.”

“The breakfast is not worth it. I wanted only one thing from the $9 dollar breakfast: an apple. But they were adamant that I must eat the apple there or leave it. I paid $9 just for the breakfast and I wasn't permitted to have an apple. It’s an ok area. But you’ll want to be closer to the port. ”

“Kom omkring kl 18.00 havde glemt og ringe inden, men en sød logerende med hendes hunde tog pænt imod mig og tilbød og ringe til hende som står for stedet, får noget vand og et æg😀, får anvist mit værelse og bliver tilbud at spise suppe med den logerende hvilket jeg takker nej til, tager mig i stedet et langt karbad for efter en tur på 52 km vandring og med den sidste stigning op til slottet var det tiltrængt, da jeg går ud og sætter mig på terrassen sidder de og spiser og jeg sætter mig stille...
