"The staff was warm, smiley, and courteous. There was an issue with the room, and it was handled quickly and efficiently. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel owner was a pleasant person who came to talk with us, gave us tips on where to travel, and asked for our suggestions on how to improve the hospitality. It was definitely an excellent experience in Crete, and we will surely return there next time."

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Nerium Luxury Resort sehr genossen. Alles war modern eingerichtet, und die Anlage ist ausgesprochen hübsch gestaltet. Das Highlight für uns war natürlich der Whirlpool auf dem Balkon – einfach traumhaft!"

"The property was very charming and traditional in style, and had everything we needed. A great location in the village, with many tavernas on the doorstep. The pool area was small but it was easy to get a sunlounger, with views to the mountain or over the roof tops to the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts had a range of delicious food from the expected greek yogurt and honey to fruit, bread, cake, toasties, eggs etc. The additional outdoor cinema, traditional Cretan music...

"The pool area is beautiful very comfortable sun loungers, pool was spotless.
Reception area is lovely and the staff do their upmost to help with any request.
Breakfast is really nice and food is hot!
Halfboard was amazing, it was a sit down restaurant style so you could order off a menu, starter salad main course and dessert! Loved the food, again staff were amazing.
Rooms could do with an update, we had a lovely upgraded room free of charge facing the pool, it was very clean but the...

"This property and resort is really a beautiful place. Looking off the cliff into the sea with beautiful sun rises and sunsets. The food was pretty good with lots of options. Beer and wine are always available at multiple locations. Some of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, others treat you a bit rude if you’re an American. If you’re looking for an all inclusive that has late night offerings this place might not be for you. Pools closed at 7pm, open bar at the pool is only open from 7-11 and everything is done by 11:15. Definitely a kid friendly spot as lots of families seemed to enjoy their time.
The resort is located very close to Heraklion with easy access to the city. Would definitely recommend adventuring out. Would 100% stay here again"
"Most staff excellent and very friendly. The hotel was very well maintained and renovated to a very good standard. Excellent private beach with loungers, towels and umbrellas included. Very nice pools and lobby area and outdoor gardens were exceptionally maintained. We were there in August and there were a few days that the wind and waves was a bit much, but apparently this is normal for August and other months are better. We still loved being at the beach. There were alot of food choices, most was OK to good and some was great, but you learn after a couple days what to order and what to choose. Dolce Vida had a great caprese salad and an excellent salmon, but the beef was tough and and overdone. You have to keep in mind that even at the sit-down restaurants, the food is generally pre-prepared as they cant make it fresh for large volumes of people. This affects the quality, but we were generally happy as there was enough choices and if we were still hungry or didnt like our meal, we went to the buffet to fill up on what we liked. Overall a great hotel with a nice beach. For an all inclusive with the location and renovated rooms, it was a fair price as there are very limited options in all of Greece at this price point that offer a large nice hotel on a beach. Very kid friendly even though we did not travel with kids."
"We’ve stayed in a number of five star resorts, but this was one of the best ones! At first we thought it was maybe too big and crowded as we were in peak season, but actually the resort is so vast, with many pools and areas to sunbathe, that it never felt too crowded.
The family rooms were a brilliant set up, meaning we could all be together. The entertainment and food was all excellent and varied with themed nights at the restaurant.
The fitness classes were great- Vincent was so friendly and kept us motivated. The kids loved the waterpark too!
All in all a brilliant family resort."
"The most impressive was quality of food in buffet and the 3 restaurants. It's also perfect for families with kids.
Cleaning was good, but missed some spots occasionally. The rooms are descent sized, comfy beds, bathroom was a bit small, but not a problem.
What made stay great was that it was such a compact resort, but somehow they have "hidden the rooms" so it doesn't feel crowded. Beach is great, with plenty of chairs, pools the same.
Amazing place for kids, as they kept meeting new friends, and parents could relax with a good overview pools and beach areas. Kids club had good opening hours and nice staff.
Some staff members were excellent, some average, but they were all helpful with the kids.
Food was beyond expectations. Top ingredients cooked very well.
Exceptional value for money.
What could be improved- Though most food was included, a couple of dishes needed extra payment. No roomservice was included in the Effortless package, but the ice cream shop was. There were 2 Wine lists, Effortless (all inc) + regular. The regular was available everywhere, the full effortless only in restaurants. In Bars only 3 wines, but all drinks included. Wine selection on effortless wine list could be improved, but a couple of good wines so no issues. Did not like shampoo and shower gel at all.
Overall, for what we paid, we feel we received great value, our kid met so many new friends it was a great vacation for all. Will definitely be back."
