“I booked 2 rooms, both of which were excellent, very clean and beautifully furnished, recently fitted bathrooms with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs. We could not find any faults at all with our stay...

“Rooms are very sparse (one chair only in a double room, no suitcase stand, no drawers) but clean however, the exterior is not maintained and presents a very poor impression with large potholes in the car park, unkemptand overgrown bushes, rotten door frames, excessive weeds where there used to be flower beds and smokers trash at the entrance. Additional £5 per night parking fee! Probably one of the worst appearance Days Inn we have seen worldwide.”

“Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place.”
