"The location was fantastic. The only problem we encountered was our original room. We had written numerous times that my mother in law was elderly and could not do stairs. So when we got there they gave us a room with a spiral staircase that lead to the bedroom and the shower. Luckily the hotel wasn’t at full capacity and we were given a beautiful room with a king bed. I believe it was an upgrade! After that everything was wonderful."

"Asked for a room with a view a month in advance and was given room 408, an awkward room off a corridor with window looking into a shared walkway. You cant open with window as it is onto a shared walkway looking into a dingy courtyard with no view. I'm sure if we were given a room looking into the main street it would have had a better experience as we had asked when we reserved. They have plenty of nice rooms, I'm not sure why we got the horrible room. If we paid less for the room, I'd be ok with it, but we paid 300 dollars and the photos are misleading. Will never stay again. The location is great though. :) I guess we were unlucky and staff didnt care about our simple request."

"Our room was very clean, with an attached balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower. It was my first trip to Paris, so this was very exciting. A breakfast buffet was included, which had scrambled and hard boiled eggs, many delicious breads and pastries, cooked veggies, fresh fruits, hot/cold cereals and cheese/cold cuts, too. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel’s location is in a vibrant neighborhood. It also has a spectacular rooftop bar."

"My teen daughter and I had the most wonderful stay at the Hotel de la Place du Louvre.The location of this hotel cannot be overstated—it’s absolutely perfect. It is within walking distance of everything! We loved how convenient it was to explore the Louvre, which was just steps away, as well as other iconic Parisian landmarks. Being able to step out of the hotel and instantly feel immersed in the beauty and history of Paris was incredible. Uber drivers arrived in 3 minutes if we needed.We arrived early in the morning after a red-eye flight from New York, completely exhausted. To our delight, our room was already prepared, which was much needed. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay, and their attention to detail made all the difference. Our room was peaceful, charming, and absolutely delightful. The floor-to-ceiling windows that opened to our private balcony were a dream! Standing on the balcony with our personal view of the Louvre felt like a magical Parisian experience. The room was also impeccably clean, and we appreciated the mini-fridge for keeping drinks and snacks on hand. The charming bathtub with an open-air skylight added such a special touch—it felt luxurious and relaxing after a long day of exploring the city. Staff made recommendations and were all around lovely! SO imoressed with their customer service."

"Location is perfect to go around the city with a lot of restaurants and bars all around. The hotel is under reconstruction. The social areas are limited, not bar inside hotel, no complementary water in the rooms, no body cream, or any regular items for a hotel of this class. Staff very kind and ready to help. Room service take too long to provide anything requested (i.e. 90 minutes to get a iron press). "

"Very pleasant and helpful staff! Room was clean, with a beautiful terrace balcony to sit out on. Breakfast was good and convenient for the day we were taking a train to visit Versailles. Great location near the Seine River, major sights (Notre Dame and St. Chappell) and near shopping and lots of restaurants! We visited a nice farmers market on Saturday, a few blocks away from the hotel."
