Un séjour mitigé à l'auberge du Choucas.

Nous sommes mitigĂ©s concernant notre sĂ©jour dans cet Ă©tablissement. L'accueil Ă  la rĂ©ception s'est trĂšs bien passĂ©, avec un personnel souriant et chaleureux. L'hĂŽtel, bien que non moderne, possĂšde un style Ă  l'ancienne qui lui confĂšre un certain charme. La chambre Ă©tait correcte, mais les Ă©quipements, comme le sĂšche-cheveux, mĂ©riteraient d'ĂȘtre modernisĂ©s, surtout pour un hĂŽtel classĂ© 4 Ă©toiles. En revanche, nous avons Ă©tĂ© déçus par le service au restaurant. Les plats, bien que bons, sont assez chers, et les boissons, mĂȘme les plus simples, atteignent des prix surprenants (6€ pour une limonade, le mĂȘme prix qu'un verre de vin). De plus, bien que les serveurs soient gentils, leur faible maĂźtrise du français a rendu la communication compliquĂ©e. Enfin, nous avons Ă©tĂ© tĂ©moins d'un comportement regrettable de la part de la patronne, qui n'hĂ©site pas Ă  rĂ©primander ses employĂ©s devant les clients. Cela a crĂ©Ă© un malaise gĂ©nĂ©ral et terni l'ambiance de notre repas. En rĂ©sumĂ©, un Ă©tablissement avec du potentiel, mais des points importants Ă  revoir, notamment la gestion et le rapport qualitĂ©-prix.

HĂŽtel annoncĂ© comme 4 Ă©toiles sur la devanture, mais ne correspond pas du tout. A notre arrivĂ©e, pas de clĂ© de chambre, les prĂ©cĂ©dents clients sont partis avec et c’est l’unique clĂ© de la chambre, pas de double. Dans l’obligation de demander Ă  la rĂ©ception Ă  chaque fois que nous souhaitons sortir. Pas de badge non plus pour rentrer le soir quand l’accueil est fermĂ©, nous devons tĂ©lĂ©phoner pour qu’on nous envoie quelqu’un qui nous ouvre l’hĂŽtel ainsi que notre chambre. Pas de parking privĂ©, on se gare Ă  5 minutes Ă  pieds. Local Ă  ski tout petit, pas de place pour les chaussures de ski que l’on remonte donc en chambre. Chambre correcte, lit confortable, salle de bain et wc minuscules. Pas de possibilitĂ© de faire une boisson chaude en chambre. Petit dĂ©jeuner buffet de 8h Ă  10h, la salle est superbe par contre en descendant Ă  9h30 absence de viennoiseries et impossible d’en avoir d’autres. Ceci a Ă©tĂ© rectifiĂ© le lendemain, il fallait demandĂ© les viennoiseries aux serveurs

Hotel Relais du Silence mĂ©rite bien son nom car vraiment trĂšs calme.Bien situĂ© dans le centre du village avec un trĂšs beau jardin oĂč sont disposĂ©s de trĂšs agrĂ©ables fauteuils. J'ai Ă©tĂ© déçu de la literie et des coussins. Il faudrait prĂ©voir de les changer car ils ont fait leur temps. Pretending to be something it is definitely not

We booked this hotel for it supposed good restaurant only to be told it was shut as chef was away,so we eat in a pizza takeaway. The bar is a tiny room in the basement with three chairs,it was suggested that we have a drink outside which was even less appealing with two chairs a dead tree and dog muck. Our bedroom was dark,the beams made of polystyrene,the separate toilet was not possible to use without the door open if you are over 6 ft.the bath just big enough for a child. Breakfast was overpriced at 18 euros,no yogurt and served by a women who quite frankly should not be in the hospitality business.We will not be returning to this establishment !

Charmantes Hotel

Es ist ein kleines, sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit seinem gewissen Charme. Es befindet sich in einem kleinen Dorf und dieses wiederum in einen wunderschönen Gegend. Die Chefin ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Einzig die Parkplatzsituation war problematisch.

Du ressourcement Ă  la clĂ© dans cet hĂŽtel, (dĂ©crit lors de notre dĂ©part) comme un cocon aux portes des Ecrins ! Le calme, la prĂ©venance des employĂ©s, les attentions de Mme SANCHEZ, et les repas (sans oublier un petit dĂ©jeuner copieux) excellents de ce Chef si jeune, et pourtant dĂ©jĂ  aguerri des innombrables (petits rĂ©gimes) des uns et des autres. Une nuit blanche passĂ©e dans cet hĂŽtel Ă  cause d'une chaufferie ou vibration spĂ©ciale qui nous a empĂȘchĂ© de dormir toute la nuit. En route to South of France

An old village hotel in a pleasant setting just off main thoroughfare. We were well received and made very comfortable. The only issue that was of concern is that we were quite tired after a day's driving and the excellent evening meal had to be taken at leisure. We waited almost an hour before we got our first course in a small beautiful dining room which have every appearance of being adequately staffed. The delays may have been a result of the meal requiring the culinary skills of one particular chef.

I have travelled to over 54 countries ranging from Singapore, Norway, Colombia and South Africa to mention a few. In all my travels I have never experienced such a romantic and charming hotel as the Auberge du Choucas. We arrived far later than expected but was greeted in an exceptionally warm manner by the owner. For those of you who wants a peaceful and utterly charming hotel, this is it.
