"It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area."

The room we had looked out over the entrance and was large and clean but lacked style / a plushness considering it’s the best hotel in town. It was unfortunate that the pool area was closed, so bar the court yard for drinks / food there were no outside spaces to relax. We ate lunch on arrival which was excellent, breakfast was fine, lots of choice but €20 each."
