“We have stayed in both the motel and the old historic inn rooms. Just stayed in Rm 11. It had exposed log beams and felt authentic. Prepare yourself for lots of steps and contorted hallways which enhances the charm of New England’s colonial period. The bathroom had new sink and toilet. Shower stall is plastic prefab unit with useful grab bar. Linens are new, cotton, good quality. Bed was medium firmness. No desk in room but old style chair with writing width very charming. “Was in one of the studio rooms off to the side. Great little room, plenty of space! The shower has awful pressure compared to the sink. The mattress is as hard as a rock. Went over to Walmart & got a mattress topper….not even that could fix it. Walked out of my shower and my feet were black from the my walk to the bed…floors looked clean. I guess not? The pool is chilly but refreshing after a hot tub soak. Breakfast was good. The staff was super friendly & extremely friendly. Only 1 washer &...

“Overall we enjoyed the stay. The room was well laid out for a small room and the breakfast nook area with a table and two chairs was perfect for morning tea and then breakfast. The one area for improvement is the blackout shades. They are too far from the window and do not block out the bright lights from the parking area. It was like trying to fall asleep in daylight. If not for that we'd have given this 5 stars.”
