"We loved our visit at this hotel. Centrally located, easy to shopping, old Montreal, Train station, subways, and many other areas! We walked in our studio room with 2 beds, and were so delighted with 12' high ceilings, large windows, full kitchen, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, boil water appliance, toaster, coffee maker, iron and board. So welcoming and relaxing. Staff was exceptional at front desk, concierge, and breakfast, all spoke bi-lingual also. Thank you, we look forward to our next visit. Btw, pool is wonderful up on the enclosed roof."

"Nice historic building with a good location. Our grand city view room was spacious and had a great view, but with kind of an odd layout. The separate living room area was very narrow - but it worked. The service left something to be desired. The staff was kind of indifferent and not very accommodating. We requested hypo-allergenic (nonfeather) pillows at check in and the clerk said he would see what he could do but wasn't sure they had any available. A bellman came to the room and said he couldn't locate any with kind of a "sucks for you" attitude, I then complained again to the front desk and told them we didn't appreciate the attitude and were likely to change hotels the next day, and miraculously they located a couple of hypo-allergenic pillows for us about 20 minutes later. Also, the maid service was not what you would expect in a luxury hotel - they kind of did the minimum (made beds, emptied wastebaskets, changed out glassware), but didn't rehang robes or tidy up like some other hotels we have stayed at."
