Small hotel, well located, poorly maintained

The hotel is a good place to stay if you are looking for basic stuff and nothing fancy. Rooms are totally basic and the bed is not top notch. Carpet in the room is pretty dirty and the shower was fixed with electrical tape for the shower head to not fall down (not working- still falling).

Hotellet var knapt klar over vores ankomst, men havde et værelse til os. Wifi, ja men man kunne bare ikke komme på internettet. Og selvom vi påtalte fejl i receptionen, trak man på italiensk vis på skulderen og sagde at det kunne man ikke gøre noget ved

ci siamo capitati quasi per caso , ma abbiamo scoperto un luogo molto gradevole. L'albergo è in una posizione strategica ed è molto carino....i bagni sono un po' antiquati , ma in compenso molto puliti, il personale è ottimo e professionale... ci torneremo.

Tämä hotelli sijaitsee "hotellikadulla", missä on siis hotelleja toinen toisensa perään. Otimme tämän hotellin yhdeksi yöksi sattumanvaraisesti ja olimme todella tyytyväisiä. Hintalaatusuhde oli erittäin hyvä. Hotellissa oli ystävällinen henkilökunta, auton sai pihalle parkkiin (autot parkkeeraataan peräkkäin, joten korkeintaan viisi autoa mahtuu pihaan), hotellin aula oli kivasti sisustettu ja huoneet olivat todella siistejä. Meille ei kuulunut aamupalaa, joten sitä emme osaa kommentoida. Hotellin läheisyydessä on kuitenkin kahviloita ja ravintoloita, joten aamupalan nauttiminen muuallakin onnistuu helposti. Plussana oli hotellin katolla ollut pieni uima-allas ja auringonottotuolit. Huoneessamme oli jopa pienen pieni tallelokero, mutta ei jääkaappia. Maksoimme yhdestä yöstä 40 €, joten oli ehdottomasti hintansa väärti!

Montecatini is wat vergane glorie: veel gesloten, vervallen hotels. Hotel Corallo was prima , op doorreis zijnde. Maar ook hier was duidelijk sprake van vergane glorie.....

Montecatini Terme - Meget centralt

Til prisen et OK hotel med en central beliggenhed. Men at slå sig op på værende et golf- og spa hotel, det havde jeg lidt svært ved at se. Hotellet er slidt på værelserne (60'er/70'er stil) Morgenmaden som vi betalte ekstra for var under al kritik - bordene var ikke ryddet, tør og trist buffet, saftevandsjuice samt en tjener som jeg ikke ved hvad lavede - det kan man ikke tage penge for. Det kunne være en god ide med en el-kedel på værelset, så man selv kunne lave the/kaffe. Poolen var rigtig fin, men igen ingen betjening i baren.

Trevligt hotell som ligger nära det stora parken, termalbad och city. Pool på taket med fin utsikt över takåsarna och Montecatini Alto, den gamla bergsbyn. Frukosten var som den brukar i Italien, mycket kakor men inte mycket mer. Trevlig personal och då framförallt den äldre mannen som arbetade dagtid (har tyvärr glömt namnet). Prisvärt.
