Did not spend enough time to try out the spa although I heard it is really nice. The reception employees were very nice, the room and bed large and comfortable. Dinner was very good and reasonably priced. The only thing negative is that the neighborhood is not the best and we did not feel comfortable walking back at night after going to the theater nearby. However, I would go there again without doubt.

The hotel is very nice with excellent service. There is a restaurant on the premises with a small but good menu. The property is located in the old town area of Montevideo, which is charming but a bit rough. There is definitely lots to do within walking distance.

This property has a small casino, and a well rounded spa/fitness center. Avoid the inclusive breafast inclusive breakfast. Dinner/lunch restaurant was good. If you try you can get some incredible meals nearby. The hotel as a whole is a little tired, but still nice.

Great hotel in a central location

The hotel was central and has a very impressive entrance. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room was really big on the 18th floor with views over the city. The breakfast is very good with lots of choice. The pool area is lovely with a sun deck. The gym is very welll equipped with a running track as well.

Hotel options near the historic port area are limited. The Radisson is a great value with a great location. Larger, convention-style property with an attached casino and meeting rooms. Room was decent. Bed was fantastic. Property could use some TLC but it looks like they are working on it. Can’t say it is a 10 but the best of the options available.

Hotel team are super friendly, but the AC in the room didn’t work only got to 26c, hairdryer also didn’t work. Room itself was nice but in need to some TLC,

Great location but need upgrades

Great location for city center and great infrastructure (swimming pool, spa, parking). The hotel looks like its best days are behind, not renewals in decades. Quirk issues with technology (on line check in is a waste of time, patent reading at the parking entrance did not work). Slow service at the restaurant for dinner. Good mattress and great shower, poor lighting. No phone chargers in one side of the bed. Great views from high floors.

Outdated facilities

The room is very out dated, and the reception staff is far from welcoming, something unusual for a Radisson branded hotel. The only thing I'd appreciated was the breakfast at the last floor where the view was amazing. But apart from its geographic advantage, I know there are better options to say in Montevideo with the same price range.

The staff here is amazing, however; this hotel needs new windows as you can hear everything from the outside and I was pretty high up. Including the fact that the air made loud cracking noises that disturbed my sleeping. Great central location to all the main things to see like the plaza, art galleries and a short walk to the food market. However, they had people (homeless men) that asked for money or protection of your car or walking you into the hotel. The hotel needs to curb this! This felt very unsafe as wait for an Uber, etc. Also the property is very dated and the room smelled terribly bad. I would not stay here it is a great hotel. The only thing great about the place is the STAFF!!!

I couldn't write a full account of my experience because it would be too long. But, I would like to say this: Hotel is not fit for anyone with even slight mobility issues. Pool is badly maintained, the amount of clorination is way over the top Receptionists are way too arrogant and vague Avoid rooms below 16 the floor, they are not renovated at all The fruit and veg for breakfast is dangerous to anyone that hasn't developed. Immunity to Montezuma's revenge. Stick to coffee and cooked foods. In general the room service food was awful. I got badly hurt in the hotel and unless you have medical insurance you are out of luck in Uruguay The manager was a pompous twitt. The ones that should be managing the hotel should be the maids, they have the customer care skills the manager sorely lacks.
