owned business, so they care deeply about their guests. They were helpful, kind, and very friendly/social! I think many people would enjoy staying here, it just was not for me. I have a very high expectation of cleanliness (it’s a flaw of mine, even at home), and while the room was clean, a few things just need updating —like the carpets. The lock on the back door also did not lock, so that made me a little weary. "

From the warm welcome at check in, to the warm cookies the staff prepared for us as a late night snack post swimming, they couldn’t have been more accommodating. "Plenty of parking, rooms clean, walls etc could use some work. 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, open til 11pm on Friday night. Continental breakfast was eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, bagels, english muffins, drinks.Basic but good enough. No TV service (they said they were changing providers). Nice outdoor area with seating. Hard to enjoy due to all the people smoking but tissue not the hotel's fault. Convenient location, 25 min from MOA, 20 min from Valley fair. Not fancy by any means but I don't need fancy, just clean!"
