“My family of four had a pleasant stay here. The property was exactly as my son had requested - a woodsy lodge near a lake. Our room was tight but it was clean and we had enough soap, towels, etc. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. We had to wait a bit to be served, but we were told that as we were seated. If a restaurant is busy, then I assume that it's because the food and service are good, which is was. “The bedding and bathroom were all clean, and the kitchen was also spotless. We travel a lot, and among the places we’ve stayed, this one in Seward was very satisfying for the price. Our kids also enjoyed playing board games, and the female staff member who assisted us was very kind and helpful.”

“Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile. A special thanks to Brandon and Lindsey for making it a very memorable trip for my entire family. ”
