The property was temporarily closed and we had no prior notice from either the hotel or Expedia. We ended up paying twice as much for a dog friendly hotel at short notice

Real Find

Great find. Used Tesco vouchers to find and book. Great room and food. Very different 5* hotel from most. Lovely breakfast options.

Top value and quality

It is often a mistake to revisit a place when you were very impressed the first time, as it never seems as good. No worries here though, it was truly excellent in every respect from value through to comfort.

Great hotel near Morpeth

Fabulous building, great pub and great rooms. We stayed for a wedding in Morpeth (about 10 minute taxi ride away costs about £10/£12) and the staff were all extremely pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Our room was very clean, very well presented and had a massive bathroom which is always nice. Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks

Highly recommended peaceful nights sleep!

Excellent stay, a bit difficult to find due to the new estate springing up around it- satnav was a bit confused by the new road layouts. Beautifully well kept hotel, the room i had was really spacious and had a nice french door feature instead of a standard window. Fan provided which was much needed in the heatwave! very comfy bed and so peaceful i had a great night's sleep. didnt have breakfast and had eaten before i arrived so cant comment on food.

Hadn’t really researched this hotel it was just in the location we needed so pleasantly surprised by the excellent rooms, and food. The friendly service couldn’t be faulted, staff all superb the lad who check us in, he was brilliant. Highly recommend and thanks to all the team. Brilliant start to our long weekend.
