“The owner was very hospitable and even let us start a few hours past check out as our flight was at 2pm. Colleen also arranged for a lovely cultural tour at our request. It’s a very nice place and the included breakfast was made to order and delicious! Not some bland breakfast bar. It was like breakfast at a cute ocean view cafe where you could order an omelette or French toast. Great stay”

“I cannot say enough good things about Travessia. The location is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing, and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. Travessia is truly a place to get away from it all and I am so appreciative of our time there. We loved that it was an eco-lodge using solar energy and was also working with the local community to be a force for good. We travel a lot, but this may be my favorite place we have ever stayed.”

“This is a really lovely hotel. Felt super safe with nice food and beautiful rooms. Staff are very helpful and lovely. The only thing I would say is that I couldn’t go straight onto the beach from my room which is a short walk to the access point but I could nevertheless see it from my balcony. There are some building works in the area which didn’t affect me. I really appreciated the airport pick up and drop off too. I would come again. ”

“The location is lovely, but the chalet itself was in a horrible condition when we arrived. It was extremly dirty and not in a good condition. The stuff and owners were very helpful, but that place definitely needs an upgrade. It is not a 3 star accommodation. ”
