The hotel was good overall, though the interior design was a bit unusual and took some getting used to. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good with a flexible à la carte selection. All in all, a solid stay.
Very quirky, lovely staff who were really helpful and friendly. Good breakfast and can park your car safely.
Recommend trying Cafe Gannet, food was excellent
Nice little b&b, very nice yard with view of the bay. Very quiet. Close to restaurants, easy on the way there since it is downhill but the climb up is harder; easy parking everywhere (by the b&b or in town) so not an issue! Very nice breakfast.

Very quirky but traditional english atmosphere and had proper english china. Breakfasts were excellent. Staff very polite and helpful. Room a little small.
We had a great experience at Betty’s Boutique Hotel. The lady who checked us in was very kind and welcoming. The place was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and love. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a unique experience
Betty’s Boutique is a lovely building with quirky rooms and several communal areas to sit, including two bars and a lovely garden. We stayed in the Spa room which was nicely decorated and comfortable with a big bath & separate shower. The room had all the necessary amenities and was spotlessly clean. Marcia gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around. We decided after a long drive to stay in for dinner and had the lasagna & garlic bread which was delicious. Marcia was more than happy to serve us an apple crumble afterwards even though we hadn’t ordered one. Betty’s Boutique is on the hill so it is a bit of a trek to get to town, however there’s plenty of parking in town and Ubers are readily available and good value. We would definitely recommend a stay at Betty’s Boutique.

Staff were first class .especially Sina .. Breakfast quality outstanding
A wonderfully curated property, with so many unique features. You can spend all day exploring property and learning about the history. Fantastic staff, who couldn't be more welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating if they tried. Would've loved to spend longer, and would return at the drop of a hat. If you get the chance, make sure to stay here!
Lovely little hotel, lovely staff.
The only issue is that it seems to takes ages to get hot water ( i dont like wasting water) so i had a cold shower. Love the bar and all the interesting bits around, beautiful pool and garden.
We loved our stay at Betty’s, from our first welcome to when we checked out the staff and owners were friendly and ensured everything was perfect. The room we stayed in (Garden) was a fun theme and was done well. The deck that lunch is served on is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Everything was thought of here.
When I am on the Garden route again Betty’s would be my destination in Mossel Bay.
We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is super cute and has a lot of charm. Our room was clean and comfortable and had plenty of space for our whole family. The staff was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed spending time in the common areas.
We made a last minute booking so took the apartment, it being the only room left. This is a delightful property with beautiful gardens and quirky decor. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. We didn’t need the cooking facilities as we were able to have some delicious lasagne for the evening meal, and a lovely breakfast on the terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. Marcia was very considerate of my current mobility issues, there being a lot of steps to negotiate!
