Hotel Metropolitan

"I had a good stay. What I loved about the hotel is the brilliant design. Although the hotel is located right in heart of town, actual rooms are more interior and towards the back away from Main Street. In addition on the back, the immediate outward area is the bathroom and shower. As result main sleeping area is in middle and extremely quiet. Further window shutters are very high quality metal plates which make the room very dark as night sky. So you will have ultimate comfort for your sleep. Staff also were very kind and eager to help anyways they could. One downside issue was the breakfast area, it is extremely small and cramped and people often run to each other. They have an outdoor area behind breakfast room which is open space, I recommend them to cover it and then remove the sliding glass doors to make it one giant breakfast area. Otherwise you would love staying there, it is very centrally located with so many shops around and near all attractions."

"The hotel was clearly a palazzo, retaining some grand and elegant reception rooms in which to sit. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and varied (juice, hot drinks, fruit, cereal, bacon, eggs, meats, cheese and varied pastries). I chose a very well priced en-suite Basic single room for 1 night. It was quiet, clean, well furnished with a comfortable bed, crisp clean sheets and towels. Whilst that level of room is not luxurious, you could stay in that room for a couple of nights or more at a very good rate."

"I didn't like the fact that I needed to stick the rooom key into a slot on the wall in order to turn on the lights because that meant that I was not able to see where I was going when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night (unless I wanted to sleep with the lights on, which I didn't)."

"Located close to the highway which was very convenient. My stay was for just 1 night to continue to Venice which is 1.5 hours north. The breakfast was incredible. Would definitely stay again in this property."

"The hotel is a business hotel but has a small gym area and a rooftop jacuzzi. The rooms are a good size with super-comfortable beds. Meals are served in an in-house restaurant. They are competitively priced. There are a range of dishes on the menu. I recommend booking because the restaurant can get crowded. There is an underground car park for a (reasonable) fee. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the station and about 25 minutes to the city centre. A bit too far to carry heavy bags but there are plenty of taxis. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe even at night."
