Very tidy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did find the dog barking annoying as it continued for some time. We would recommend this Motel for anyone staying in Motueka on the Great Taste Trail. Thanks 6 Bikers

Absolutely immaculate units. Very spacious. We were upstairs and it was like being up in the tree tops with the lovely trees. Personally this is one of the cleanest motels ive been in and lots of space for children to run around outside.

This is a value for money complex. The swimming pool was a great asset in this glorious summer weather. A quiet location away from the main road, with plenty of space and lovely playground for children. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Basic but reasonable

The room is very basic with some odd configurations of the sink in the kitchenette and also the placement of the soap dispenser in the bathroom makes the sink difficult to use. The rooms are not the most up to date but OK and reasonable enough and enough if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two. The host was lovely and greeted us with a fresh bottle of milk which was nice.

Very helpful owners. Spacious unit. Shower water pressure good, but shower rose was a bit low for a 6ft tall person. Quiet location, looked like a good kids play area and plenty of room for kids to run around. Free use of washing machine was appreciated.

We were in an older unit, there are some new ones. Very clean and partly refurbished inside, but kitchen cupboards and wardrobes old and smelt musty. Free use of washing machine and washing lines with pegs thoughtfully available. Facilities if you have children very good with play area and the pool. On the downside it is quite a long hike (15-20 mins) to town shops cafes and restaurants. The location is part residential part, rural (overlooking orchards) but some light industrial units near by, though there was no problem with any noise.

Tired and needs updating

Sadly the units we stayed in at the back looked like they had been opened to rip off summer tourists. There was general waste lying on the ground in the grass including a winter coat. Main bed was old and needs replacing urgently. Shower base was crumbling. On the up side improvements seem to be happening in parts of the complex. Sadly the back part of the complex is no garden motel.

The family suite we stayed in was spacious and well outfitted for the price. However, the bathroom shower could use a refit and you could hear every footsteps the people in the room above us made. The kids loved the pool and the unlimited wifi was great. Overall a nice four day stay.
