“Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.”

“We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking!
Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell.
There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever.
