This review is somewhat coloured by my previous stay at this park in the beautiful new houses up on the hill. The cottage appears to be built in the 50's/60's, it is in a row of 3. The cottage floor plan is a studio set up, with the kitchen, eating, lounge and bedroom all in the one space. The room also had a wood burning stove, there is no air conditioning, however there was a ceiling fan.
There are little signs in the room that ask you to wash your own dishes, tidy up and remove rubbish upon departure. Personally these kinds of requests tend to cause a bit of an abrupt end to the holiday mode for me, however it is understandable why they do it but the enforcement by threats of an unspecified dollar value 'cleaning fee' gets my back up. After all I am your guest, not your pseudo employee. That's just my gripe but it is my review. The kids jumping thingy is close by and you will hear kids being kids. If you don't want to hear a thing this is not the spot for you. See if you can stay in one of the newer homes or a cabin away from the action. In summary not bad but could do with some basic creature comforts updated, air conditioning for one, new mattress. It's basic accomodation but I think a little pricey, but that seems to be an Australia wide problem.
