"Good location close to the Minster. Room was on the main road side of the building, but we'll sound proofed. Some noise from the bar, but this is expected in a pub. Problem with loss of hot water pressure on the final morning was irritating, but these things happen. Clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. "

Shower tray found slippery which made it awkward stepping into out of shower. Non slip mat would help. Large professional taken photos of area on wall in dining room for sale. Tempted. "Catherine, the owner, was the perfect hostess with nothing being too much trouble. She even texted to make sure everything was OK and to ensure she was about when I arrived. The room was clean and well provisioned. Breakfast was a full English and cooked fresh. There was also a selection of cereals and fruits. The village is about a mile away and has a convenience store, pub and Indian restaurant."

"Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."

"The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
