We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was spotless, very comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and was very well maintained. Everything was exactly as described, and we were very satisfied with our experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and welcoming place to stay.

We arrived in Naples and took a cab to the villa, had dinner and awoke the next day and walked 7 minutes to tour the site. Highly recommend it! We walked to dinner at the restaurant at Pizzaria La Gare (at Camping Spartacus) - it was amazing! (We were turned away from Caupona-Pompeii Restaurant since we did not have a reservation, and we are so glad). La Gare was like getting a homemade Italian meal, and topped off with complimentary limoncellos.

Positives - Villa was in a good place near a supermarket, restaurant's, public transport and ruins. Good size rooms with quite comfortable beds, good sized kitchen, air con was good. Negatives - we were asked to book in online before we arrived but no English option on their website to book in on so when we arrived there was no one on reception to book us in so we called the owner who couldn’t understand us so for 3 days he kept sending messages asking us to pay the local taxes in Italian! Having someone on reception now and again would be helpful, not only to book in but for general enquires. Shower was the tiniest shower we’ve ever used, all 3 of us are under 5’ 6 but still struggled to fit in! We were informed by text on arrival that cleaning the rooms was down to us but only a brush was provided, if you are going to the ruins and mount Vesuvius then the floors will get dusty so provide a mop and bucket. Roof top terrace was a good feature but floor, sun-beds, table, etc were very dirty. Advertised there was a swimming pool on site but there wasn’t one even though there was a sign on the wall saying “use of the swimming pool is strictly prohibited”

This is a beautiful property. It is well cared for and extremely clean. It is also has the most comfortable mattresses that we have slept on during our three week visit in Italy. I highly recommend staying here during your stay in Pompeii.

Superbly central apartment in Pompei that you are able to walk to all important parts of the town. Everything was very clean and well appointed and the owner was very responsive for all queries. We will definitely return!

Home away from home

We loved staying at Villa Magiola. It was really a home away from home, fully equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen is great, with lots of equipment for cooking, and its fantastic having a washing machine and dryer in the lobby. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought and energy into making this a great place to stay. Excellent convenient location too

The property is nice, clean, offers all basic amenities and is close to the rail station and just a walk to the Pompei Ruin. I think it's one of the best places to stay if your objective is to see the Ruin. The Owner is quite a nice fellow and the staff are quite helpful. If we are to come around the area again, we will surely be staying in the Villa. Thumbs up

We loved the place...Nice place near the trains but you get easily used to it...the room was very nice and super clean...little confusing key system, you can't split the keys from lobby and room and electric supply , means that you must stay always together with your bunch of keys...10 minutes walk from Pompéi archeologic park...

Once inside the property was very nice! The walk to is a little sketchy since it’s in an alley like street. But it is clearly one of the nicer building along the block. The room we stayed in was very humid but I wouldn’t blame since it was so close to the water. Otherwise the room is pretty standard and has all the amenities you need

Comfortable stay

Very comfortable room. Quiet. Easy check in. Owners are not on site but respond quickly to questions and are very helpful. Room is well appointed with fridge, kettle, ever import corkscrew and a large bathroom. Location is fantastic. Ten minute walk to trains and cathedral. Two minute walk to archaeological park and grocery store.

We stayed 4 nights at the property. We picked it because of the free parking and excellent location if you want to explore the whole area and the surroundings. The motorway is close and there is a quick access to A3 either to Naples or Salerno or Sorento. We stayed at the base floor facing front of the property. People should consider at the back is the train track which doesn’t show up on the map or I missed that fact. It is actually very close 10/15 meters probably, we used the back garden for our coffee mornings and we have realised we were lucky to stay on the other side to avoid the noise of the passing trains. The room was big and spacious equipped with all you need. The fridge was a great bonus. There was a coffee machine at the main entrance working with coins so it is good to have lots of change in advance. The air conditioning was a bit noisy even at night when you switched it off you could hear it from the outside it stopped after time. I am giving an excellent stars because we had a fabulous vacation and fantastic time exploring lots of sightseeings. The property is actually behind the petrol station on the main road so if you come from Naples watch for the sign on the road and take the slip road leading down. I visited the main shopping centre 10 min drive but the actual supermarket is very close and convenient. At Pompei we stayed only the first night for dinner and booked a fabulous restaurant Caupona- strongly recommend it !!!

The appartment itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. Kitchen was a nice size and we had a door into a lovely garden area. The kitchen lacks a few essentials but enough to self cater if you wish to. Being a 5 minute walk to the Archiological site of Pompeii and havng a Supermarket next door the location is perfect. Only thing that affected our time there was the train that runs directly behind the property can be a little irritating, but you do get used to it. Please note there is a 80 Euro cleaning bill which isn't advertised on Expedia in advance, payable upon arrival with your local taxes too.
