Disappointed
Very disappointed on arrival key was left in basket name and room number on piece of paper. Restaurant closed no information to inform us of this. No lounge facilities all locked up , although non smoking could smell smoke , the shower room smelt of Urine . Glad we were only staying over night

Champagne hills are just nearby
A Double room with shower and Electric kettle as a plus. The check-in was easy and the staff helpful. Internet connection was stable.

This is an old hotel in Moussy. No reception on arrival, keys in a basket. Nice room but very cramped en suite. Tea making but only one cup each, but we had our own coffee and milk. As no reception we weren't asked to book the restaurant which was full when we went down, so along with 7 or 8 others had to drive to Epernay for a meal. Could have done without this after a long drive.

Quiet stay.
This is a smallish, older hotel. It can be though of as quaint. The staff was friendly and spoke English. The place is real old school though. Keys on keychains that you leave at the desk when you leave for the day. Pro-tip: if you arrive after hours they will leave your key and room assignment in a basket in the front reception area.

Good quiet location
Really good place in a good quieter location, close to very good and not so expensive Champagne houses. It is a simpler place, but good atmosphere. Nice restaurant, with a good Champagne list.

Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. We had a good meal and breakfast was good however the coffee could’ve stronger even by U.K. standards!! We had a problem with our car in the morning and the receptionist was extremely helpful in sorting us out. (My husband had left the fridge in the car on all night leaving us with a very flat battery - I remained calm). The owner very kindly came to our rescue.

Hotel with character situated in a lovely vintage, rooms comfortable but need some modernisation. Restaurant food and breakfast good but slow service for dinner as serving staff unable to cope with staying guests and a large Dinner Dance. Very good Wine List and prices reasonable.

great quaint little auberge.
Very convenient location, off the main national road. Within 10min from Epernay, 35min to Reims. The place is clean, the staff super nice. Old style auberge without any issue

Proper French Auberge Experience
This was super hotel to stay in. We just stayed one night but were extremely impressed with the relaxed feel and friendliness of the staff.It was clean and we had a choice of rooms. The restaurant was excellent and provided genuine French food, beautifully presented and not too expensive. We'd definitely stay here again.

Mystery hotel?
We were unable to locate the hotel. Even with a GPS which indicated some area north of Paris. Locals could not help either. We finally gave up and found a hotel in Reims. This was the biggest disappointment and trouble we had on a three week trip to England, Scotland and France.

History In the auberge simple clean delicious test
A hotel full of history in a small on a decline town but the Auberge despite its "aging" had personality, history & a restaurant that was filled with guests & delicious! Rooms are very simple but clean!

Great location near Epernay, tired hotel.
Hotel location great, but decor and facilities old and tired. Bizarre plastic all-in-one bathroom like something from an old caravan. Linen threadbare and old towels. Restaurant friendly but NO vegetarian option at all. Had to negotiate for an omelette. Breakfast not worth it, stale cereals and coffee, no croissants, supermarket yoghurt, packet butter, jam etc.

Worth the drive to stay here.
This quaint hotel has a variety of areas to relax in, with a good value restaurant and easy parking. One there you have access to a bar and there are several shops across the road as well.

Nice little spot in a charming town
We had a very small basic room when we arrived around 2 am. The next day the owner and staff apologized about it... So nice and helpful... This area is in the heart of Champagne and the receptionist was a wealth of information

Quick one night stay on our way to Paris. Glad it was only that though. Nothing glaringly wrong just not real welcoming and the "bathroom" was reminiscent of and RV bathroom. Barely any space to really shower.

Lovely little motel/hotel in the countryside
We picked this motel because it had parking which was great. The character of this motel was a wonderful surprise as it had a display about champagne that was made at the motel.

Good location - average hotel.
Great location to get around area. They answered all of our questions although at times it was difficult to communicate. Biggest problem were the stairs. It was a major effort to get bags up and down from the room. Room was very clean and quiet. Dinner was good.

We stayed at this hotel some years ago and decided to book an overnight stay this year on our journey home. Sadly we were quite disappointed. The hotel looked tired. The dinner was ok, but not great. They did present me with a birthday plaque and indoor firework though! The room was pretty good value and had everything we needed, even tea making facilities! - the "pod" bathroom was very small and a bit strange. As it was very hot when we arrived, we decided to have a cold drink in the bar. This seemed to be run separately and we had to pay cash and could not put the drinks on our room bill. Breakfast was great, though a bit of a scramble at the buffet.

Wonderful location
Great peaceful location for traveling to Paris through Reims. Friendly and very helpful staff and manager. In restaurant - food was good to exceptional and afterwards my family enjoyed nice walk up to an old church.

Lovely hotel close to Champagne houses
We booked this as a stopover before we drove to South of France and were very pleased. Room was spacious with bunk beds for children. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. We arrived very late and staff were lovely. Even checked in on us in the morning and sent us breakfast to our rooms as we were sleeping late. There are a lot of vineyards and champagne houses nearby too.

Good hotel, rooms basic, bit old fashioned, but would happily stay again. Dinner we had was very good, Champagne menu is fab, and bottle of fizz from local producers is great way to wash down good food! Staff friendly.

Sadly Disappointing
We stayed one night at this hotel and were glad not to have to stay a second night. The waiting staff largely ignored us once we had placed an order for a simple meal without wine. Having asked for salt, we waited and only received it after getting up to look for some. Having finished our meal, we were left sitting at the table for about 10-15 mins with dirty plates in front of us leading us to deny ourselves dessert as we were fed up. The rooms we had were very warm even with windows open. The only covering on the bed was a quilt, not even a bedsheet so that it was not possible to have a light cover on a very warm night. As a result none of us slept well that night.

OK hotel for the price.
Hotel was OK. Decorated in typical French way and needs some updating. Room was clean. Receptionist gave us keys for 2 rooms to look at and choose but there was already someone in the first so that was embarrassing. There are no other restaurants in Moussy and only a couple of shops and Epernay is not within walking distance.

Quiet comfort at the heart of Champagne district
Picked the hotel despite some adverse and ill judged reviews by a few earlier guests. We selected it for ease of access and parking as well as for the character of the property. We were offered a choice of rooms on arrival. All were of a good standard and good value for the price. The Hotel restaurant offers a good menu both fixed price and a la carte and the standard of cuisine is excellent. The hotel bar is actually run independently and is aimed at the local trade.

Bonjour, Notre séjour dans votre hôtel m'a moyennement plu car la cuisine était faite qu'avec des produits congelés ainsi que les sauces Ayant tenue une Auberge moi-même je reconnais le frais du congelé A la caisse la personne responsable n'était pas capable Il avait oublié les repas du midi et ne savait même pas retrouver la fiche heureusement que j'étais correcte et je lui ai redonnée 108 euros
