“The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning.”

“Fantastic size and cleanliness with plenty of supplies (milk, tea, coffee, fruit, cleaning products) provided. Staff would assist with anything uncluding washing up and laundry, so not really "self-catering" if you wish. “We really enjoyed our New Year's stay with Ronelle at our "Pretty Piggy" cottage at Forellenhof Guest Farm. We stayed there over the New Year's period and Ronelle was fantastic in recommending places we could visit to celebrate New Year's. “This is a rustic camp. I stayed at one of the tent cabins. I loved the quiet, solitude and being in the trees. I woke up to birds chirping in the morning and numerous animal noises throughout the day and night with the occasional monkey jumping on the roof. I enjoyed the camping vibe that added to my Africa stay. Andre was a excellent host and helped arrange day trips. My only issue was hot water and I believe Andre fixed that issue.”

“Nice friendly helpful staff, not the best view from our lodge it was sugar cane field and a petrol station. Sofa beds aren’t great it was like sleeping on the floor. ”
