"Ngedere Lodge is nicely situated in Mto wa mbu as an ideal base for Safari game drives to Manyara Lake, Ngorongoro Crater and even the Serengeti National Parks. I had the half board package. Erick cooked great food with a range of pancakes, omlettes, sausages for breakfast and the loads of options on the evening. Numerous local dishes, like Ogali and international greats including pizza and chips, burgers, etc. The rooms were clean with warm showers - great for familes and solo travellers. There is a nice pool too, but the highlight for me is sitting and watching the resident troop of monkeys. They are happy to be handed bananas and watching them interact with rabbits is a joy. Thank you Meshack and the team for a wonderful stay. I'll be coming again. "

"We had a great stay at lilac hideaway but the thing that stood out most are the way they stepped up to help guests with travel plans We rented a dud 4x4 and it would not start after we checked in - but Eli jumped in an d organized mechanics to come and then drove with us to take the car to the mechanics once they had gotten a new battery in. The car had no brake or transmission fluids and an corroded alternator wire - Eli stayed at the mechanic while we got some food next door The mechanics also said the front tire was shot but they were closing and Eli actually swapped out the bad tire for the spare the next morning before we went to Ngorongoro crater And, after we checked out for our trip to Serengeti, lilac hideaway coordinated with their sister hotel to let us leave our car and extra luggage at that hotel and then arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport and then to pick us up on return to go back and get our bags and car All about customer service at the lilac hotels!"

"It was excellent. The grounds are beautiful. The the food is superb. The room is large it had two king size bed and a fireplace a sitting area. we stayed at this Four Season in the Serengeti. this was comparable for a lot less money. I would stay here again. In fact, we extended our stay one day just to enjoy the service and the food. It is definitely a jewel."
