“Nice clean room with a good selection of tea and coffee, miniature toiletries in the bathroom and a comfy bed. Lovely breakfast with good options for vegetarian and vegan diets. It is a bar with rooms above so just be aware that especially if staying fri or sat night it is going to be noisy. (They do provide complimentary ear plugs!)”

“William was very accommodating and very helpful. He's friendly and easy going. He made me feel welcome and comfortable. There are also friendly local customers that use the bar as their local pub, which was refreshing to see. In additions, William is preparing his kitchen to start serving hot food. This will be an addition to their good services and I wish them the best of luck”

“Photo in the Hotels.com emails is not this hotel! On arrival there were no tea making facilities in the room, but this was provided on request. The TV was unable to receive many channels, including BBC1 and BBC2. There was no shaver point.”

“All was ok,the bed was a little small for me because l am 6,6 ! You could use a few hooks in the bathroom for towels, all in all we had a nice stay!”

“Our second stay at the Mug House. Location is fabulous right next to the river Severn. The in house restaurant is very good and there is also a pizza oven located in the beer garden for a less formal dining experience. Rooms are quaint rather than luxurious with period features, oak beams and fireplaces. Bed was very comfortable. We will no doubt be staying there again in the future.”

“Simple straight forward, pick up keys and enjoy the area. The pub offer some tasty choices and Apple desert ticks the box. Room was large without being too big and with windows front and back plenty of natural light. Heating was just right with an additional portable heater if needed, but didn't need it. They also provide an Iron and Ironing board which is a nice touch. My one niggle was there is no heating in the bathroom, as the weather was mild it's not an issue but come November it might,...
