Hotel du Parc is convenient to the train station and old town center. The staff are multilingual and very helpful. The bathrooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is showing it's age in maintenance--our shower tile grout needed some serious work. But all in all pretty good.

The room was clean and easy to access. A bonus was that it was air conditioned which was not mentioned in advertising. Their advertising said that they had a shuttle bus to the airport which was the main reason for our overnight stay but on arrival we were told that the shuttle bus does not operate in the busy holiday period which was totally unhelpful. I would stay there again but be warned that all is not as advertised.

Beautiful traditional hotel, lovely art deco styling. Room spacious and well equipped. Bar was lovely. Young lady on reception when we arrived and checked out was delightful. Location was good - walkable from the station and the centre of town. Unfortunately neither the phone nor the safe in our room worked although the latter was fixed after a half hour delay. The worst problem was that the air-conditioning in the room was completely inadequate on an extremely hot night, although the corridors were cool. Despite these issues we would stay in the hotel again (though maybe not in a heatwave! )

Very Dissatisfied

Only positive things I can say is the air conditioning was good and the bed was comfortable. The bedside lamp was broken with exposed wires, no overhead light so limited to a lamp across the room. Breakfast was mediocre for the listed price of 13eur, but they actually charged 24eur making it awful value. Every few minutes there was a sound like a hammer drill rattling the walls, all through the night and day. Decor is decades old with faded wood and fraying carpet. Overall, very expensive for what it was.

First of all, a very charming and welcoming hotel, excellent location, awesome staff, do not hesitate to book for a downtown visit to this city. We booked a Sunday night and Monday night, because of a low rate,mostly. Charlie's lounge is closed Sunday, and a lot of businesses are shut down Mondays. We will stay mid week on our next visit, appreciated the bathtub, nice bathroom, the superior room seemed a bit small to me, although c'est la vie, en France. Wonderful surprise for a brief getaway, especially if you appreciate the beautiful art deco design of this building, and hotel. Cannot rate breakfast, for we only go for espresso and croissant now, trying to be less americaine and more french, since we live in Alsace region now. Don't hesitate to book this fine establishment. Cheers.

Unique art deco hotel

One-of-a-kind unique art deco hotel which is great value for money. Check out the art and furniture in the lobby - every inch is original art deco style. Rooms could do with a little updating, but are comfortable and the current style is what gives the hotel it's charm.
