“We were quite pleased to have found this eco hotel. It is basic but comfortable, quiet (except for the birds!) and clean. You can tell there is pride in the property. The staff are lovely and helpful (in Spanish mostly). If you ask, they will call a ferry for you to the private dock. “I had a good stay overall, but there was one serious issue. Around 2 a.m., someone opened my door and tried to enter my room. I reported this to the receptionist, but was told there are no CCTV cameras in the common areas. For the safety of guests, I strongly recommend installing security cameras.”

“I spent one week at Amankaya and had a great time! Fernando is an amazing host that always goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The location is a bit secluded from everything but theres a boat that can pass by the lakehouse 3x a day which makes accessing all of the other villages very easy.
