This hotel appears to be recently renovated and is in very good condition. It's very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have remained another night.

Overall good.

The hotel was dated and had a slight stuffy smell to it but everything in the room was clean and the air conditioning worked so well coming from a prior place where it did not work much at all. The breakfast buffet was great. Enjoyed every morning. Loved having espresso in the room, two cups for each of us. Close to the train station. Never saw the hot tubs that are shown, looked everywhere.

Pros: clean, great location and view from the balcony. Front desk ladies very nice. Cons: I believe they did surge pricing (there was some sort of festival in town). So I was expecting a $750/night room like I paid for but it was far from it. I would have given 5 stars if it was $300-400/night but the service isn’t indicative of the price we paid. The manager was rude, and they don’t actually have parking (it’s based on if they have room that day but zero advance warning we needed to arrive super early to get a spot) so you just drive in circles til you find public parking. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great.

Just stay here

This hotel exudes a pleasant vibe. It looks nice, and it is nice. The people are nice, especially the reception. They upgraded us. It’s just one of those hotels that’s just perfectly nice. It has all the amenities that pre pandemic hotels used to have. Shampoos, conditioners, body cream oh la la. My wife would probably add that although there is a lot of counter space it was a little bit dark. I would like to add that I looked good in the mirror and the shower was refreshing and powerful. There is reasonably priced parking (14CHF) that’s easy to reach behind the building. Nice. Our room offered a stunning view and the free breakfast buffet was also…very very nice.
