It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. There is a bus that runs by the hotel, and if you walk 10 minutes, you will find many more buses to choose from. We walked from the port the first time, but I do not recommend it as it was a 30-minute walk, in the sun, uphill.”

“Ich hatte ein grosses Zimmer mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Das Hotel liegt an einer verkehrsreichen Strasse; ich war erst besorgt betreffend des Verkehrslärms. Doch die Schallisolierung der Balkontüre war sehr gut. Ich hätte in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln können, was nicht nötig war. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und die Besitzerfamilie war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.”

“Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port.”
