"Lovely ancient building but very small room and stinky. Lots of air freshener and/or fabric scent was used to cover up something. "Absolutely amazing! We've stayed in 3 different hotels before this one while traveling Spain and this was by far our favorite for the beauty and uniqueness of it. Book the Ulysses Grant room, it is beyond worth it! The views were spectacular and the room is so trendy and comfortable!"

"Hotel Argantonio is right in the heart of Cadiz so perfect for exploring the city. Despite its central location, it is on a quiet street and so night time noise is limited. The room itself was lovely, comfy double bed with a clean and well maintained bathroom. We did not have breakfast but it is within minutes of multiple cafes and restaurants so this is not a problem. We used the underground parking that the hotel has which we booked ahead and was perfect. One tip - if you are driving to the hotel and parking, hire a small car as the streets to get to the hotel parking are incredibly narrow!"

"The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient for restaurants and a small supermarket. Its location makes the city very walkable. There is no food or drink allowed on the rooftop solarium, that said the pool was clean and there was plenty of sunbeds and seating options. There is nothing other than toiletries and a cloth/soap pack supplied. The coffee machine only seems to accept pods that the hotel has on sale rather than the supermarkets nearby which was very irritating. There is a decent gym and foosball table downstairs and a number of washing machines and tumble driers. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Car parking nearby is very limited. Note - there is NO Uber or Bolt service here nor in Jerez. Local taxi bus or train is your best option. Would I come here again - yes but the above information on their website would have been useful."
