We didn't have to use the self-check in, as staff is not there all day/ night. There are a few steps up to the lift, a small reception area. Door locks are a bit tricky, but we enjoyed our stay. "This was a great place to stay in Zurich. In old town 10 min walk from the train station and all tram lines. The patio and lounge areas were quiet and a nice place to unwind outside of the room. Our room was big for Europe standards and overlooked the public plaza. The breakfast was decent and had a good variety of choices. Would stay there again."
