"It's ok, a bit of a walk to the center for shopping and restaurants. The hotel provided no amenities and ask you to go to 7-11 downstairs to buy,not to many staff speak english"

Its location is very convenient with access to public transportation and walking distance to popular areas Myeongdong and Namdaemun. I shall definitely book a stay at this hotel when I visit Seoul again."

"Excellent stay at Botanik Sewoon Hotel Myeongdong. The location is very convenient, close to Myeongdong, public transport, and key attractions. Rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, with great views from higher floors. Breakfast was great, and the internet service was excellent. Staff are professional and helpful, making the overall experience smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommended."

"My only 3 complaints are if you’re here in the winter, they don’t have AC so if you get too warm in the room you have to open the windows, but the air quality is so bad, you hesitate doing so. My second complaint is for some reason, the hallways leading to the rooms smelled like cigarettes!! Lastly, only 1 elevator worked our whole trip. wasn’t horrible, but we never got on the other elevators. maybe a coincidence. "

"I stayed in the shared 6-person dorm style room. The room was clean, well designed, with an American-style outlet and USB-C and USB-A port in the wall beside the bed. The staff was very helpful. I had a great experience, especially for the unbeatable price!"

"We had a great stay at the Royal hotel - the location was amazing fo first timers in Seoul - the airport taxi found it easily and it was steps away from the main hub of myendong - and there is a Starbucks and convenience store across the road. Check in was simple but the long lines for the lifts were a bit much. Our room was more spacious than it looked with a small seating area and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom amenities were excellent- the toilet was fabulous and the water pressure was perfect. There is a fridge in the room that we appreciated and used daily. We only had breakfast once and it was average at best for the price but the view while it was snowing was worth every penny ! (About £17 for a small buffet) The cleaning staff are wonderful and it was lovely to return back and have it so clean and tidy it was a highlight for us. I would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend to first time visitors to the area as it’s so accessible "
