Absolutely adorable accommodations. Very efficient use of space and you're right on the lake. There's a grocery store about 7 minutes away if you need anything as well as a wine/beer store. Checkin was easy and everyone we interacted with from the staff was very kind and helpful. Awesome views and peaceful place to rest
Very friendly staff (and dogs!). The room itself had what we needed, but the walls were very very thin and we could hear the neighbours conversations word for word.
The room we were assigned had water on the floor from a flood so they gave us a free upgrade to one of their cabins, so it was an extra nice stay. Very clean, friendly staff. Note: Myvatn has a lot of midges so be prepared to be swarmed.
Nice little cottages. Perfect location for driving to all the surrounding sites! And there's a nice walking path very near to get a good look at the lake.
small but very clean rooms, shared kitchen, equipped with everything you need (otherwise just ask the staff)
the breakfast was very good with options for everyone and was prepared daily fresh with homemade products
perfect view to the lake and the reception was reached in 1 minute walking distance (our room was number 12 with own bathroom)
the blinds were helpful to make the accomodation really dark- perfect for sleeping during the midnight sun
nice surroundings, possibilities to sit and watch the lake and birds
very friendly and helpful staff (family owned) and very nice and calm dogs (gentle giants ❤️)
- rather small, the door cracked loudly,
This was a nice property at Lake Mývatn. The rooms were small, but it met our needs. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of geothermal hot water! Breakfast was also good!
In a gorgeous area. Close to lots of adventure. Very easy to check in, very easy to find your room. Walls are a little thin, but the room was great and cozy when I got in.
We liked this place a lot. The house was very clean and close to the nature spa. We had a private hot tub which we loved. The staff is very friendly and kind and they make an amazing breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here very much. They also have two hotel dogs which my kids loved. The dogs were so friendly and sweet. We walked around the complex which is located right on the lake and it was beautiful.
Beautiful property. View of the lake is amazing and serene. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. We arrived late and were disappointed to find a tour buses parked in front of our two cabins. Recommend property asks tour buses park behind cabin to avoid obstructing view of the lake from cabins.
We've stayed in better places while in Iceland, but it was alright. Great view from our double room 11. The rooms are small and the walls are thin. But neighbors were quiet. A very handy communal kitchen area. The place has easy access to all the sights Lake MyVatn has to offer.
