"Our experience was decent. Food was good and the beach was lovely. Staff was very friendly and helpful, albeit management needs improvement as the resort was lacking in amenities that should be offered at a 4+ star level. For a “luxury resort” we expect basic room amenities like body lotion and conditioner, both of which were absent. This is not typical in our past Grecotel experiences. Likewise, the resort fell short of what was advertised as the rooms were not as depicted in the images. They were very basic and generally poorly constructed. (Racks falling from closets, hardware and toilet accessories not fastened to the walls, headboard disconnected from the beds, etc.) When we expressed these shortcomings we were given the option to switch rooms for an additional price; when the product is not to the standard it is sold, it shouldn’t be on the onus of the guest to pay for the lack of care from the owner. Again, this is a flaw in management and should be closely observed by the Grecotel group at this location."
