Location is everything

Nagoya Kanayama Hotel has an unbeatable location, situated right next to Kanayama station where you can hop on and off Mu-sky train, Nagoya Meitetsu, JR train and the subway Meiji/Meiko lines. Plenty of restaurants around the area to choose from too. Personally found it better than staying in Sakae or Nagoya station area. Hotel room is decent, simple room with all the things you need.

The hotel was a 2 minute walk from the closest train station making travel incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average but appreciated. The room did have some scuff marks along the walls but was clean upon arrival. Since the hotel is close to a train station you will hear the trains pass by intermittently.
